An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic administration team based in Woodlands Unit, Ipswich as a clinical Team Administrator. This is ideal for someone who is interested in building on their current admin skills and experiencing a fast paced and interesting new challenge.

The role with be to support the Crisis Pathway’s clinical teams predominately working for the Home Treatment Team who offer an alternative to admission service for over 18’s who are experiencing acute mental health problems and the Crisis Response Team who offer an emergency response to those in an acute mental health crisis and the Mental Health Liaison Team based at Ipswich hospital. The service is a 24 hours, seven days a week service although the admin role will cover Monday to Friday within the hours of 8am to 5pm. The successful applicant will also be part of the wider admin team and will receive good training in order to cover patients finance, Police Triage and Diste. Woodlands is also home to two 21 bedded acute inpatient wards, a 21 bed older persons ward working with both functional and dementia patients and Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Your role will involve a wide range of tasks from minute taking daily team meetings and regular medical meetings as well as ad hoc professionals’ meetings. Data collection and inputting, taking the work the clinical team do and ensuring it is on our clinical database in the correct way to support data reporting. Creating clinical letters using both written and audio dictation to support information sharing with both the patient and relevant support services. The role will also include answering the phones for the teams, talking with patients, carers and other professionals in a calm, professional and empathetic way. This is a stimulating and varied role where no two days are alike but are extremely rewarding.
