Sales Account Manager

**About the role**
We're looking to hire a Sales Account Manager, giving you the chance to join our high-performing E-Commerce function and help us continue our rapid growth and success. Working with your colleagues in Business Development, you will be responsible for transferringownership of new customers and looking after their needs, identifying new business opportunities and innovative packaging solutions.
We'll be asking you to demonstrate excellent business acumen and instincts, gathering commercial intelligence from customers and using your own initiative to find new opportunities for the team. You'll have a portfolio of customers that you are able to buildstrong relationships with, maintaining regular contact so that they always feel that they have a trusted Account Manager at DS Smith. This will involve you learning about the various industries that our customers operate in so that you can understand the challengesthey face and the solutions that we can help to provide.
**About you**
- Previous sales experience
- Ability to build connections with stakeholders in a variety of different organisations, and within DS Smith
- A keen eye for detail, understanding where we can add value to a customer's business
- Resilient and determined, with the ability to focus on opportunities with the highest probability of success
- Packaging knowledge would be advantageous, but is not mandatory
