Vanrath has partnered with a leading supplier of high-quality CNC and conventional machine tools and accessories provider, they supply into the manufacturing industry throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.

This company has offices in the North and South, being assisted by a strong team of Technical Sales and Service Engineers across the island.

**Working Hours**

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm -** Permanent **position.

**The Role**:
To develop and expand profitable business through the effective management of customers. To be regarded as a strategic supplier and provider of high quality that achieves growth for customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Representing the company and promoting and developing the Metal Cutting Division products in the Northern Ireland marketplace.
- Working with the General Manager to achieve and exceed sales targets set.
- Preparing and implementing action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects to cover and support the territory.
- Maintaining involvement on turnkey projects, machine demonstrations and other customer related projects to meet deadlines and budgets. Working with customers and engineers on presale activities including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine and part processing assessments and recommendations,and development of turnkey proposals.
- Working with General Manager, Product Managers, Service Manager and company Directors to proactively address customer requirements and any issues arising.
- Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
- Where appropriate, representing, promoting and passing on enquiries received or generated for other company products to the responsible product manager.
- Submitting customer visit reports on a weekly basis and using company CRM systems to update status of enquiries.
- Observing this company’s safety procedures and keeping safety as a priority in all work activities.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, a strong work ethic with problem solving skills.
- Engineering and business software knowledge.
- Presentation skills.
- Analysis skills and technical understanding.

**Salary**: £37,500.00-£45,000.00 per year
