**Job Role: Carer Services Advisor**

**Hours: 37 per week - Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm**

**Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire / Hybrid**

**Salary: £26,133**

We're looking for a compassionate and organised **Carer Services Advisor** to join our busy and dynamic team. You'll be the first point of contact for carers reaching out for support, providing them with vital information, advice, and a friendly, understanding ear.

Three in five of us will become a carer at some point in our lives. Caring Together is an ambitious regional charity that provides emotional and practical support, information and advice to carers of all ages and their families, as well as opportunities to take a break from their caring role.

**What You'll Be Doing**:
Imagine being the lifeline for someone who dedicates their life to caring for a loved one. You'll be:

- **Answering the Call**: Handling enquiries via our carer advice line, ensuring everyone gets the support they need quickly and efficiently.
- **Being a Guide**: Providing accurate information, signposting to vital services, and empowering carers to achieve their personal goals.
- **Making Breaks Happen**: Helping carers access much-needed respite, working with our team and local organisations to create meaningful breaks.
- **Getting to Know Carers**: Conducting statutory carer assessments (on behalf of Norfolk County Council) and developing personalised action plans.
- **Keeping Things Running Smoothly**: Supporting the team with a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
