Ready to take the next step in your social care career? As a Senior Care Worker / Team Leader you'll support the registered manager by leading the day-to-day management of the care being provided.

You will lead a team of care workers to ensure that the care is provided as per the agreed standards, policies and procedures and legistative requirements. You should have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close-knit team supporting each other, and wanting to promote choice, individuality and independence of our service users at all times.

**Type of Work for Senior Care Worker**:

- **Personal care **(for example washing and dressing)
- **Companionship**:

- Taking the customer **shopping**:

- **Medication **support (prompting and Administering)
- **Domestic support.**:

- **Supervising Care workers**:

- **conducting spot checks**:

- **MAR Chart Auditing**:

- **Writing Support Plans**

**Skills Required for Care Worker**:

- Driving License (required)
- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (required)
- 2 years working experience in Care industry(preferred)
- Good communication and customer care skills.
- Willing to learn new skills.

**Driving is essential for this job.** It is essential that you own your car in order to drive between customers' houses. We pay Mileage and Travel Time.
- The successful Care Assistant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check - If you have a DBS update service please state this when applying._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
