Master Data Co-ordinator

**Purpose**
This role is a senior member of Pilgrims Europe centralised master data team, reporting to the Master Data Manager and has specific responsibility for Customer & Vendor requests. The role has a prime focus on maintaining the quality of SAP data, following defined rules to process request forms from the business, to create and change data.
The role will also proactively monitor the workflow of requests and escalate any delays or failure to meet service level targets to the Master Data Manager.
As a senior member of the Master Data Team the jobholder will help deputise for the Master Data Manager in his absence.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Senior role within the team supporting administration of Vendor Creates / Amends & Customer Creates / Amends
- Monitor team Master Data mailbox & Manage Engine ticketing system for incoming requests
- Ensure the log of requests is maintained and accurate
- Ensure requests are correctly authorised
- Prioritise the request against other workload ensuring adherence to agreed service levels
- Validate the quality of master data information provided in the request form
- Enter the data accurately into SAP or other systems within scope of the team
- Follow up any issues and if necessary, escalate to the Master Data Manager
- Follow processes defined in the System Operating Procedure (SOP) for the team
- Update SOP’s when required and with agreement of Master Data Manager. Each type of data will have a unique request form and process for each type of change (create, amend, extend, block). The jobholder will review the forms and processes to ensure that they are fit for purpose, identifying opportunities for improvement and review with the Master Data Manager prior to implementation.
- Comply with SOX Audit requirements for master data controls and access
- Complete monthly SOX reports, preparing data samples & gathering evidence for sampled transactions
- Take part in business process improvements and testing programmes as directed by the Master Data Manager
**Skills & Knowledge**
- Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail
- Self-disciplined to follow documented instructions
- Data entry skills and experience
- Experience using Excel and Word
- Ability to escalate issues and identify process improvements
- Good communication skills responding to queries from across the business
- Good interpersonal skills within a team
- SAP master data transaction experience
- Experience maintaining data with a high level of data accuracy
- Knowledge & previous experience of workflow systems
- Knowledge of the new customer / new vendor process
