Compliance Co-ordinator

We have a fleet of over 140 vehicles including fridges, multitemp fridges, euroliners, box vans, tail-lifts and skeleton trailers. We specialise in frozen, chilledand ambient storage, frozen and chilled distribution and also blast freezing. **Salary**: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Occasional weekend work required and flexibility surrounding shift times.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Management & Updating of Clockwatcher System
- monitoring driver and vehicle compliance
- Analyse infringement reports and discuss with drivers, ensuring infringements are kept to an acceptable level
- Completing Monthly reports for Transport management
- Support Compliance Manager with induction process of new starts, paperwork, right to work checks, drug and alcohol testing
- On request, carry out temperature reports for customers
- Process new Sub Contractor Insurance and Operator Details
- Manage Sub Contractor Data Base (Updating Goods in Transit, Motor, Public & Employee Insurance)
- Ensure all driver training records and safety documentation are maintained accurately, up to date, and in line with legislative and company requirements
- Ensure all site safety boards and communication zones, including, but not limited to: Health and Safety Policy, Insurance Certification, Site Health & Safety minutes, Site Rules, location of first aid are always maintained and current.
- Prepare for, and participate in, audits such as BRC, MHRA and Safety audits.
- Ensure that a high standard of training, BRC compliance and Health & Safety is adhered within the working environment.
- Ensuring site maintenance is completed in a timely manner and is prioritised so that it does not compromise safety and hygiene standards.
- Prepare, facilitate and arrange site meetings relative to training, compliance audits and safety.

**Qualifications**

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Experience producing Risk Assessments and Safe Working Procedures
- Good understanding of Transport Regulations
- Attention to detail/accuracy
- Computer Literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to work as part of a team or as standalone
- Conscientious and reliable with a flexible attitude
- Strong and effective communicator at all levels
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines
- Have a good working knowledge within a Warehouse and Logistics operation
- Be proactive and effective at being the best in class
- Work and communicate effectively across multi-functional depts
