ENGIE are recruiting for a Gas Settlement Administrator to be based in **Leeds. **This is a Permanent role working 37 hours per week. Working is flexible in relation to office attendance (1-2 days per week) and standard office hours (8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Friday) are expected. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
**Purpose of the Role**
To validate and accept gas consumption data into the billing system and ensure that accurate consumption data enters gas settlements
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Processing and resolution of industry read rejections
- Managing Meter Read Agency exceptions
- Taking actions to prevent Must Reads
- Managing and resolving Must Reads
- Managing read frequency process to ensure this is aligned with industry requirements
- Monitoring and resolving issues preventing data collection from DM sites (daily metered sites faults) (Class 1 & 2)
- Identifying and resolving meter technical data discrepancies if required
- Awareness of the importance of settlement performance in line with industry targets
- Ensuring volumes in settlement match the consumption used at customers premises
- Organise meter compliance inspections in order to comply with relevant industry codes
- Engagement with third party service providers to ensure information is received and site work is completed in line with industry timescales.
- Liaising with Gas Reconciliation Analysts to raise Requests for Adjustment where settled data is incorrect
- Raising AQ corrections if required
**Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications required**:
- Understanding of the customer lifecycle and interdependencies between Billing and Market Operations and interfacing departments
- Numerical skills
- Organisational skills
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Able to produce effective work within deadlines
- Practical approach to problem solving
- Process improvement methodology expertise is beneficial
- Knowledge of Energy Industry is preferred
- Proven record of excellent customer service
- Previous industry experience in settlement processes
- For this role, you must have evidence of the right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package offered with this role._
