**Overview**

Brand new and exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate Event Marketing Manager with a passion for event planning and delivery, to join a truly global technology company with over 28 offices worldwide. The business does great working in partneringwith house-hold name advertising platforms to create a safer environment online. The team are diverse, fun, experiential and hardworking and are looking for an Event Marketing Manager to put together B2B event activations that create memorable experiences,across a number of countries. No two days or events will ever be the same

The EMEA Event Marketing Manager will sit in the Marketing Team, reporting to the passionate and down-to-earth EMEA Marketing Director based in London.

**Responsibilities**:
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

- Assist and consult the overall marketing events plan across EMEA
- Producing detailed proposals for events (for example, timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
- Researching venues, suppliers and contractors, and then negotiate prices and hire
- Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations
- Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
- Managing and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel)
- Managing all pre-event planning, e.g. organising guest speakers, delegate packs etc.
- Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships (in this case internal clients)
- Liaising with various markets and key stakeholders to ensure localisation and geographical context is considered
- Liaising with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote the event
- Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
- Travelling to on site inspections and project managing events
- Managing a team of staff, giving full briefings
- Organising facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality and the media
- Ensuring that insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are followed
- Overseeing the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently
- Support in any awards evenings logistics and industry partner initiatives (press etc.)
- Producing post-event evaluation to prove ROI and inform future event strategies
- Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish
- Proactively research opportunities for new events
- Being a team player and working with the global events team to support global initiatives as well as owning regional event deliveries
- Robust project management skills, including the ability to multi-task effectively
- Goes without saying that an exceedingly high level of organisation and communication are a must
- Taking initiative is intrinsic to this role

**Requirements**:

- University degree educated
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, visual skill, ability to prioritise
- Experience working with a variety of stakeholders including C-Level team members
- Proficient in Microsoft suite, Google Apps for Work and Salesforce are a plus

**Salary**

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum negotiable

**Location**

Remote. If in London or commutable, you will have the option to go into the office 1 day per week to meet with the team.

**Working hours**

You'll generally work normal office hours in the lead up to an event. However, you may need to work extra hours, including evenings and weekends, nearer the time of the event.

**What to expect**

Although the work is largely office based, you'll need to travel to visit clients, partners, sponsors, venues and other suppliers. You may need to work outside to plan and deliver the event.

Depending on the kind of event you're working on, you may need to spend time away from home either in the UK or abroad.
