Elizabeth Loury Ward has a wonderful opportunity to join our very busy ward as a Ward Clerk /Admin Assistant.

Our ward is an Oncology/Haematology ward. We care for patients, at all stages of their cancer journey, including diagnosis, treatments, symptomatic care and palliative/ end of life care. We also support their relatives and friends in this journey.

You, as the ward clerk, are often the first face both patients and relative/cares see on arrival to Elizabeth Loury Ward therefore you need to be friendly, calm, supportive and approachable.

Your role will involve updating Medway and use Teletracking to support unit, answering multiple telephone and transfer calls and arrange follow up appropriately as required.

You will be responsible for filing, ordering paperwork/consumables and arranging follow up when required.

Training will be given.
