**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Enter and retrieve data relating to students onto the SIMS.net database and other software packages as directed. Produce statistical reports from SIMS.net and other database packages.
Responsible for monitoring and keeping up-to-date the Academy communication system in order to ensure full effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide general administrative support and be proficient in using Microsoft packages.
- Provide administrative support in the preparation and distribution of correspondence, marketing literature and course guides to parents/carers and students.
- Assist with the recording and monitoring of student attendance data using Go4Schools and the electronic registration system.
- Support the effective provision of the 16 - 19 bursary fund as directed by the Academy Manager.
- Co-ordinate the issue of lockers to students, using systems of recording ownership and fees paid, including the return of keys and deposits to be returned.
- Responsible for onsite cash-handling and collection by third-party contractors
- Play a role in the wider procurement activity and strategy of the Sixth Form under direction of the Academy Manager
- Assist with producing the Sixth Form student bulletin under guidance from the Deputy Head of Sixth Form.
- Collating student files, tutor folders and filing.
- Order office stationery and ensure the office is well equipped at all times.
- Co-ordinate the booking of rooms and AV equipment within the Sixth Form and process requests for any works to be carried out.
- Co-ordinate the booking of rooms and liaising with the relevant staff and external agencies for any lettings for the Sixth Form.
- Provide first aid assistance as and when required to students, staff and visitors.
- Monitoring of all aspects of external and internal postage.
- Work cooperatively as part of the Trust administrative team, covering absence, vacancies and supporting colleagues at times of heavy workload.
- Undertaking any other duties which may reasonably be regarded as within the nature of the duties and responsibilities/grade of the post as defined
