As a Flow Sales Product Specialist, you are working as part of a European sales team. As a Product sales specialist you are responsible for driving expansion that leads to increased sales revenues generated from targeted products. You will develop and implement tactics and strategies to grow designated accounts or product categories.
As a Flow Sales Product Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Achieving the assigned flow orders target for the region
- Promoting Flow products in the designated regions
- Partnering with regional commercial team for customer visits, product demos and training; address technical questions from internal and external
- Supporting technical workshops and conferences
- Partnering with commercial team on Deal review and discount review
- Driving key product line and business initiatives and campaigns in the designated region
- In conjunction with the key account managers and local sales, works with EPCs/Licensors/Key accounts to gain entry on Approved Vendor Lists (AVLs). Also works to influence new project specifications at FEED/early stages with those same EPCs/Licensors/Key accounts
- Leveraging best practice and lesson learned of flow business across regions
- Serving as the primary contact for regional “voice of the customer” input on new technologies, new products, developments with competition, and general market trends to support our Technology developments
- Leading effort for designated region on commercialization of new product launches, including identifying test sites, establishing sales projections, creating target customer lists, and training sales team/channel partners as required
**To be successful in this role you will**:
- Show considerable experience in flow measurement, Application Engineering or Technical Sales (5+ Years of Experience is preferred)
- Have commercial awareness and demonstrate financial acumen
- Familiar with ultrasonic flow metering, emission reduction regulations or instrumentation business in general.
- Be willing to travel domestically and internationally for about 25% of your time
