**Who we are looking for**:
We’re looking for an ambitious individual to join our European finance team based out of Manchester, UK. The role of Treasury Assistant will be supporting the Treasury Manager and Cash Team

**Specific tasks will include but are not limited to, for multiple European entities**:

- Posting and allocating all Cash received through multiple currency Bank Accounts
- Taking manual Credit Card Payments & making Refunds as and when required
- Raising and Posting Journals ensuring double entry postings are correct as and when required
- Completing received Credit Card Payment Allocations & associated Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Other Balance Sheet Reconciliations including multiple cash and bank accounts, ensuring all balance monthly and queries are followed up proactively.
- Perform the role with a customer-focused outlook, always aware of who our internal customers are and striving to provide the best possible service to them.
- Supporting our External Audit requirements with Revenue testing samples.
- Other finance duties to support the Treasury Manager and Wider Finance Team

**What you’ll need**:

- Experience in a finance team would be beneficial but not essential, it is desirable that you have an awareness of finance functions and basic accounting terminology. This role would suit someone who is interested in a career in Finance and is looking at starting their AAT training.
- Teamwork is essential in this role, as your work integrates across many departments within the business, therefore you must be team orientated and able to maintain positive and supportive relationships with your colleagues at all times
- Effective organizational ability and time management skills are crucial, and you must be able to work to tight deadlines
