Base pay range A Fantastic Opportunity: Treasury Analyst We have an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to join us within the Strategic Planning team in Manchester. You will support the treasury function and be responsible for group’s cash management requirements. This will involve managing and reporting on the group’s short to medium term cash flow requirements, ensuring compliance with the group’s financing agreements and adherence to the group’s treasury policy. Manage the group’s short to medium term cash requirements and maintain a cash flow forecast to manage liquidity requirements; Identify opportunities for investing surplus cash to optimise returns whilst ensuring appropriate liquidity; Verbally contract liquidity fund transactions and money market deals with agreed bank counterparties; Manage the group’s short-term borrowing requirements under the group’s banking facilities; Ensure all interest and principal payments are made promptly and correctly on long term debt and derivatives via online banking systems; Correctly record all treasury transactions into the treasury system; Monitor credit risk of counterparties and manage the group’s exposures; Maintain the group’s bank mandates; Always ensure compliance with the board approved treasury policy; Produce weekly and monthly treasury management information, containing cash, liquidity, and market data; Assist with other ad-hoc projects within the Corporate Finance and Treasury team; Assist with the ongoing integration of the group into the ScottishPower and Iberdrola groups following the recent acquisition. The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
