Job description:
**Treasury Analyst**

**Full time, permanent**

**Based in Manchester (Hybrid)**

**Role purpose**:
Working as part of the Treasury team based within our Manchester shared service centre (PBS). You will initially be responsible for ensuring that the company accounts and banking processes are maintained and ensuring that the funds are correctly allocatedon a day-to-day basis. As the department evolves, as part of the Group’s Treasury Roadmap, we will be implementing a treasury system and automating cash allocation and all roles will take on different responsibilities as part of this change.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Bank statement downloads, uploads to SAP and bank reconciliations daily
- Completion of month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing bank payments, credit cards, petty cash
- Analysis and investigation of queries and liaise with the business to resolve on a timely basis
- Professional and effective communications with internal and external customers to build strong business relationships
- Work effectively and efficiently with high volumes and to tight deadlines in line with the needs of the business
- Assist in the set up and review of procedures in respect of automating systems and processes
- Monitor bank accounts and improve forecast accuracy on cash flow forecasting and systems
- Manage the administration associated with FX transactions
- Support management to deliver key objectives, support with continuous improvement, upskilling, training and creating a culture of knowledge sharing

**What we need from you**:
Essential
- 2-5 years treasury experience
- Experience of working with major online banking platform/s
- Excellent on Ms Excel and Word
- Experienced in using SAP
- Good knowledge of Treasury Management Systems
- Cash Management experience
- Studying\interested in a treasury qualification

Desirable
- Experience with 360T / FX All or another dealing platform
- Bloomberg / Reuters market data
- FX experience deal entry/dealing
- Treasury qualification
- Accounting qualification
- Advanced reporting skills
- Project skills
