Are you a person with a passion to be part of a thriving organisation? Great Places Housing Group treasury team is looking for a Senior Treasury Accountant to join a close knit team of professionals. You will deliver the Corporate plan and Treasury strategyby taking control of our day to day cash management, treasury accountancy, interest budget, forecast cash flows, managing our significant cash investments, managing treasury officers and preparing the 30-year business plan.
We have 25,000 homes, many of which are used as security for our loans. Great Places has a loan book of c.£800 million and the business plan shows it will grow significantly over the next few years as we build a large number of new affordable homes.
Planning and delivering reports and projects to strict deadlines is a key part of the role, you will be reliable, careful and action focused.
You will report to the Head of Treasury and much of your work will go on for submission to the Executive Management, the Board, the Regulator of Social Housing and lenders.
Continuous improvement in cash management with a focus on digital - you will have a passion to make the overall customer experience better this way.
You will have lots of tasks and project variety, working collaboratively with your team. Experience of working in a corporate treasury environment is ideal.
**You will**:

- Ensure all interest and other treasury payments are paid on time;
- Prepare the 30 year business plan using financial modelling software HousingBrixx;
- Prepare, monitor and report on treasury related budgets and forecasts; treasury accruals and prepayments; treasury balances; management accounts reporting for interest;
- Prepare regular reports for submission to Management, Board, the Regulator and lenders;
- Monitor liquidity and oversee the portfolio of cash investments;
- Oversee cash books and cash transactions;
- Be responsible for treasury transactions including intra group cash management; and
- Manage the team of treasury officers and an assistant treasury accountant, working closely with the Head of Treasury to create a robust and resilient treasury team.
