Role Purpose Statement
The role of the Office Administrator is to understand and undertake all aspects of the administration functions within the logistics team, with particular emphasis on order input and amendments. Responsible for order entry on both the warehouse and transport systems, including amendments cancellations and additions to ensure the systems are accurate and live at all times for planning purposes.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Answering the telephone and managing the enquires
- Raising non-conformances
- Booking in collections
- To process customer enquiries in a timely fashion, meeting the expectations of the customer
- To build good relationships with internal and external customers and help to build a strong team by offering support and assistance when required, including absence/holiday cover
- To demonstrate flexibility in performing any reasonable task, as required. This many include assisting other departments
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
Good customer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office package
Office experience essential
Excellent customer focus
Excellent telephone manner
Very good verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail/accuracy
Ability to prioritise workload
Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
Reliable, organised and pro-active
**Job Types**: Temporary four - six months with a possibility of a permanent position
**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
