About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Administrator to support our busy transport office. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the transport and weighbridge team
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications
- Assist with booking deliveries and collections, liaising with customers
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and paper-based)
- Maintain PPE records
- Assist with data entry and updating internal systems
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
