Administrative Support Officer

An opportunity has arisen for permanent administration positions within the Community Healthy Bladder & Bowel service. The base is Gorseinon Hospital Swansea and the successful applicant will work closely with the nursing team.
The successful applicants will be responsible for the administrative and clerical duties required by the Community Healthy Bladder & Bowel service which would include
- The provision of the day to day administration/clerical/data entry support to the department ensuring that the referral & appointments system is utilised effectively and patients appointments are arranged and altered as required.
- Dealing with enquiries from the patients, departmental staff and other health care staff.
- Stock ordering
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is experience of dealing with health professionals & patients.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is essential and knowledge of clinical admin systems such as WPAS, Clinical Portal, Oracle and PIMs is highly desirable.
The role will also include general administrative duties, such as photocopying and filing.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
