Pertemps are proud to be working with one of the largest Global Clients in the field of Logistics to recruit a Planning and Despatch Administrator on a permanent basis, this role will involve planning the internal workload for picking and preparation of orders in line with our clients customers requirements.

The role also involves ensuring that Transport providers are aligned to meet the delivery requirements of customers and liaising with the customers to make bookings in line with weekly scheduled deliveries, non-scheduled deliveries and any ad hoc requests.

The role plays a key role in achieving site KPI targets related to the picking and dispatch processes.

**_Duties & Responsibilities_**
- To prepare and process delivery documentation and produce dispatch information for carriers for full pallet traffic, including any Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN's) as required, for all customers.
- To create Shipments and Groups within the electronic stock management system, in line with customer requirements.
- To liaise with the external haulage providers to ensure they support the operation in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
- Organising courier services for any same day customer requests as and when required
- To provide details of delivery information to customers as and when requested.
- To ensure that all issues are dealt with promptly, effectively and in a professional manner.
- The job holder plays a pivotal role in the success of the operation, providing a close coupling of picking and transport activities, while being the main point of liaison for customer queries.
- Ensure goods are prepared for dispatch with relevant labels pallets etc., in line with receiver's requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of relevant projects when necessary.
- Report any Health and safety issues to Line Manager.
- Responsible for their own personal Health and Safety as well as ensuring the work area within which they and their team work is safe and the work is carried out in line with health and Safety standards.

Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or with a Wholesaler is preferable.**
