The Laboratory Administrative Assistant’s aim is to help and support the Head of Laboratory and other members of the Laboratory Team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the department.

CCPI Europe is a technology company, focused on product leadership in its chosen markets. The company is planning both future organic growth and New Product Introductions based on development of innovative new products within the Marmon Group.

The Laboratory Administrative Assistant needs to be aware of both current and relevant new Product ranges, Software and working practices.

Duties included but not limited to:

- supporting other members of the Laboratory Team i.e., the Head of Laboratory, Deputy Head and Laboratory Technicians
- generating technical calibration certificates and preparing these for review and signature
- answering the telephone and redirecting the call to the appropriate person as required
- managing files and data
- scanning, filing, and photocopying
- maintaining company information databases
- finalisation of orders ready for despatch
- using other systems as appropriate
- any other reasonable task required by the company

**Essential**:
Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

Excellent communication skills

Excellent time management

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks well

Ability to work as part of a team to deliver maximum team benefits and willing to help

Willingness to participate in training and development to self-enhance personal performance

Sound judgment and exhibit the correct frame of mind and disposition required for the post

GCSE Grade C or above in Maths, English and Science

**Desirable**:
Experience of working in a previous administrative role

Knowledge and awareness of the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 and/or ISO 17025: 2017
