Our client delivers integrated marketing and communications services (where it is the sole or main marketing services provider) to a portfolio of clients predominately in technology-based sectors and oil & gas, operating in global industrial markets. Weare looking for an Account Director who is flexible and confident in engaging with clients at senior and strategic level, but is also willing to 'be hands-on' to get the job done.
**Overview**
- Lead, direct and develop client relationships with specified client accounts, building relationships at all levels.
- Grow your client relationships including the creation of an annual business development plan.
- To support the identification, development and conversion of client development opportunities.
- Maintain an understanding of the dynamics of the client’s business, market and competitors.
- Consult and agree with clients on marketing plans/programmes.
- Plan, lead and manage marketing communications campaigns and specified projects, consulting with clients on campaign requirements and objectives to agree marketing plans/programme details including preparation of market desk research, evaluation and de-briefs.
- Check that projects have been completed as briefed, and work is delivered to company standards.
- Create and deliver strategic and creative presentations to clients. Facilitate meetings with clients as appropriate.
- Resource plan and project manage the supply team to deliver the projects, requesting POs and securing services as appropriate.
- Manage clients and projects through the Company’s approved systems and processes. Prepare proposals and estimates for clients. Negotiate with clients as necessary, within authority levels.
- Responsibility for the commercial management of your account(s), including accurate forecasting on a weekly basis and timely management of invoicing.
- Monitor, manage and maintain budgets and costs, to protect profit margin and maintain client account profitability
- Provide supportive line management to the Account Manager enabling them to grow and develop within their role
- Assist the senior management team in company-wide projects and initiatives.
