Residential Support Worker

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and assistance to individuals in need. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you support.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist individuals with daily tasks and activities as outlined in care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and activities
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other team members
- Drive individuals to appointments or outings as needed
**Experience**:
- Previous experience working with children or in childcare settings is preferred
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals and team members

Pay: £14.50-£18.50 per hour

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Residential Childcare: 1 year (required)
- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
