**Job Title: Administration Assistant**
**Accountable to**:Head of School
**Responsible to**: Admin Team Leader
**Salary**: Salary £17,494.41 to £19,872.35 per annum - full time (pro rata) Grade UST

S4

**Employment Status**:Permanent, Required as soon as possible

Term time plus Inset days and one additional week per year (40 weeks)

36 hours per week

**Job Purpose**
- To provide efficient day to day administrative support in the school front office, positively contributing to the efficiency of the school administrative function
- **Main Duties and Responsibilities**

General Administrative and Reception Duties
1. To provide a full range of secretarial skills to cover work generated by staff
2. Undertake reprographic duties as required
3. Work at the student window to deal with student queries
4. Undertake relevant duties to support new student admissions
5. Use of the school’s management information systems and other databases as required
6. Assist with distribution and management of incoming and outgoing correspondence
7. Support school events outside the working day, by agreement
8. Participate in reception duties as required including operation of switchboard
10. Undertake first aid duties and recording of same, where required
11. Ensure that visitors are welcomed and correctly registered when requested
12. Maintain effective communication with site team and senior leaders, as appropriate
13. Communicate with parents and carers, as directed

**Other Duties**

1. Be aware of and comply with all UST / school policies and procedures especially those relating to safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and GDPR / data protection.
2. To participate in performance management.
3. To take responsibility for own continuing professional development.
4. Support and maintain collaborative, productive working relationships with all staff and professionals from outside agencies to support students learning and well-being
5. To attend training and development sessions, as appropriate
6. Undergo Basic First Aid training and update courses, as required

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £17,494.41-£19,872.35 per year
