**The Company**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Adviser to join an award-winning insurance company based in Aylesbury (HP21).

Our client is in a period of significant growth and as a result need to expand their Customer Service Department.

**Key responsibilities of a Customer Adviser**:

- Handle Customer Service and Claims calls, both inbound and outbound, to ensure optimal rate of retained and renewed policies.
- Objection handling including but not limited to; policy cancellations, premium increases, Claims decisions.
- Answer all Customer incoming calls efficiently and professionally
- Support and advise Sales and Customer Service agents with complex queries.
- Escalation point for complex queries. Conduct investigations to find satisfactory resolution.
- Respond to customer enquiries appropriately, ensuring all documentation is professional and accurate.
- Handle any calls that overflow from Sales or Customer Service to maintain required service levels
- Deal with and attempt to resolve customer complaints
- Record and maintain accurate customer data

**Your key skills as an Insurance Customer Service Adviser will also include**:

- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Strong customer service skills essential (Insurance experience desirable but not essential)
- Proven track record of meeting agreed performance targets
- Reliable with a sense of responsibility essential.
- Enthusiastic, flexible with the desire to succeed.

If you are based locally, upon completion of training (and depending on performance) you will be given the option of working from home 2 days a week.

**Hours of working: 36 hours per week - Rotational shift pattern that covers the hours of 9am - 6pm: shifts of either 9am - 5pm, 9am - 6pm or 10am - 6pm and 9am - 1pm on Saturdays (working 1 in 3 Saturdays). When working a Saturday you will receivea full day off in the week and work 4 days of 9am - 6pm shifts to total 36 hours.
