**Summary**:
Project Timber, a leading garden building company specialising in designing and manufacturing high-quality sheds, cabins, and outdoor structures, is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Assessor. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and assessing the quality of our garden buildings at various stages of production.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough quality assessments of garden buildings and structures.
- Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and work with production teams to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of quality assessments and communicate findings to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with the production team to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in product development and testing to enhance overall product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and quality control best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in quality assessment or quality control within the manufacturing industry.
- **Experience in timber milling or working with wooden products is highly advantageous.**:

- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects and inconsistencies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using relevant software for record-keeping.
- Physical ability to conduct on-site inspections and assessments.
- Knowledge of garden building construction and materials is a plus.

Pay: £13.47-£14.16 per hour
