**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Quality Assurance:

- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the consistency and reliability of inbound & outbound products/services.
- Conduct thorough inspections and audits of products, processes, and documentation to identify and rectify deviations from quality standards.
- Process Improvement:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Recommend and implement changes to workflows, procedures, and systems to optimize quality control measures.
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and any corrective actions taken.
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality metrics to management, highlighting areas of concern and improvement.
- Training and Development:

- Provide training to employees on quality control processes and standards.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organisation.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

- Stay current with industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the organisation complies with all relevant requirements.
- Participate in audits and inspections, addressing any compliance issues promptly.
- Collaboration:

- Work closely with production, maintenance, warehouse, and other relevant departments to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of quality expectations.

**Health & Safety, General Organisation and Housekeeping**

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation on the plant and pro-actively monitor and take responsibility for all aspects of health and safety whilst performing day to day duties. This includes:

- Working in line with the company housekeeping standards.
- Ensure the Health and Safety rules and standards are adhered to at all times. Demonstrating responsibility for yourself and others.
- Ensuring that all accidents are correctly recorded, and all Health and Safety concerns are reported and addressed.
- Ensure that correct PPE is worn and maintained. Identify any worn or damaged PPE to management for replacements.
- Ensure all tools and lifting equipment are used in line with training and company procedures. Report any faulty or damaged equipment to management for replacement or repair and remove from use.

**Company Assets**
- Ensure company information is kept confidential; look after company property.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.

**Additional Requirements**
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO:9001) is a plus.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

- Plant based at Conica Ltd UK site
- Opportunity to work from home on a limited basis

**Schedule**
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
