My client, an independent Medical Communications agency, is looking for an experienced editorial or medical writing team member with line management experience to join their agency as a Content Team Lead.

This is a key role within the team, taking on responsibility for the editorial and stylistic meticulousness of medical communications project deliverables across several therapy areas.

You will get to employ your own editorial, data integrity, and quality control skills and experience across projects, and direct the talents of your team to add real value to clients.

**Responsibilities are but not limited to**:

- Managing a team of medical writers to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality materials, incorporating regular performance and development review.
- Performing internal editorial and quality control review of materials and ensuring the delivery of accurate, concise and insightful material across a wide range of project types, audiences and formats.
- Providing targeted hands-on input into projects as needed.
- Collaborating with account management, creative and digital teams to scope, schedule and resource work, and deliver it to budget and deadline.

**Knowledge and experience**:

- Proven editorial experience in a medical communications or medical education agency
- Proven experience of line-managing medical writers and/or editors.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and ability to plan.
