The Role Content Lead
As our Content Lead, you will be the creative heart of our messaging, responsible for planning, creating, and managing inspiring, accessible, and impactful content across all our channels.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent written communication and editorial skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital content strategies and storytelling.
  • Ability to manage a small team or coordinate with volunteers.
  • Passion for social and environmental justice.
  • Experience with content tools (e.g. Google Suite, Canva, basic CMS or scheduling platforms).
  • Previous experience in a content, editorial, or comms role (voluntary or professional) is a plus.

now-u is a UK-based charity on a mission to make it easy for anyone to create positive change. Through our mobile app, monthly campaigns, and strategic partnerships, we empower people to take informed action on some of the most pressing social and environmental issues of our time — from climate change to racial justice, poverty, and beyond.

We're a small, passionate team committed to education, action, and technology as forces for good.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of monthly campaigns on key social/environmental issues.
  • Write and edit content for our app, website, newsletters, and social media.
  • Coordinate with our volunteer content and comms team to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Work with our partners to craft compelling, collaborative content.
  • Develop and oversee a content calendar aligned with our campaign goals.
