In order to ensure the smooth running of our school we are looking for someone who is enjoys working on a variety of administrative tasks, and with a variety of people including our our Front of House team, our Therapeutic team and our Management team, as well as external stakeholders including parents and families, the local business community and colleges, and care/Council professionals. Experience in a school or in a Health and Safety role would be an advantage. We are looking for excellent:

This is a full time (40 hours per week) term time role, 8:30am - 4:30pm.
The Green Room Kingsley is a school which provides a second chance at education for approximately 40 young people aged 11-18, who have, for various reasons, found it difficult to learn in mainstream education. They all have Education Health Care Plans indicating a variety of needs, including support for their ASD, ADHD, ODD, PDA and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties. We provide a broad, lively, and stimulating curriculum for our pupils. We have a sister school in Windsor, Berkshire.

**REPORTING TO**:School Manager
**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
The Green Room Foundation needs an Administrator to work in partnership with our school support teams to assist in the smooth running of our schools and enable our brilliant team of Teachers and Learning Support Assistants. The role includes a wide variety of administrative and support tasks. This role works closely with the School Manager to deliver efficient administration to most effectively support our staff and pupils and ensure the best use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives.
**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Administration, to include**:
**Day to Day Running of School**:
Work with Front of School staff to support floor staff (managers, teachers and LSA’s) to do their jobs to the best of their ability on a day to day basis and providing phone and visitor cover when the Front of School staff is unavailable.
Provide backup administrative support for the Front of School staff in terms of transport, trips, sourcing and purchasing as needed.
Provide administrative support for the therapeutic staff and management including arranging meetings, taking minutes, providing data and reporting, etc.
**Compliance**:
Work with other administrators to ensure compliance with Health and Safety (including Fire and Lockdown Safety, PAT Testing and risk assessments) and GDPR.
**Pupil Annual Reviews**:
Ensure Annual Reviews are conducted per an agreed schedule
Ensure Annual Reviews are conducted correctly and comprehensively.
Ensure any actions from Annual Reviews are undertaken in the correct time frame.
**School Information Management System (using Arbor Software)**:
Ensure pupil records are kept up to date and comprehensively across the school.
Ensure medical records are kept up to date across the school.
Create and produce reports as required.
**Deputise for The School Manager**:
Work closely with the School Manager to ensure clear understanding of their role so it is possible to provide cover when the School Manager is unavailable. This covers annual reviews, budget management, admissions and a myriad of different tasks and projects.
**Work Experience and Futures**:
Work closely with the Head of Careers to source, arrange and risk assess work experience opportunities for pupils, as well as assisting with placements (internships, apprenticeships, jobs, college places) for the future. Maintaining and sharing clear records as needed.
**General Administration**
Assisting other Support Team Members to balance workload.
Assist with the varied range of administration tasks which present themselves daily
Research for and procurement of assets, training and other items needed by the
schools.
Due to the very varied nature of this exciting role there will be many additional tasks and projects to get involved in as the schools develop.
**KEY CRITERIA**:
This position requires a calm, polite, non-judgemental person who can work quickly and precisely, can multi-task and organise their work despite interruptions to deliver to deadlines.
It is a busy and varied role which suits a person who can rapidly re-prioritise depending on the circumstances at the time, and consequently has excellent attention to detail.
In addition we require excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues and visitors, and clear precise written and verbal communication skills.
Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential, with knowledge of Apple/Google technology, Xero and Arbor
