**Marketing and Communications Co-Ordinator**
**Location**: Hybrid, with expected travel to Avalon Locality Offices

**Employment Type**: Permanent, Part-Time (21 hours per week)

**Salary**: £23,492 per annum (pro-rata)

**About the Role**

Are you a creative and driven communicator with a passion for making a difference? Avalon Group is seeking a Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team led by our Service Development Director. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and deliver marketing strategies that raise awareness, engage communities, and support our charitable goals, including fundraising and service promotion.

This is a new role, and whilst worked primarily from home or the nearest Avalon office, there will be occasions where you will need to travel to other locality offices so being a driver with access to a vehicle is preferred though not essential.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and deliver innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that promote the Charity’s work.
- Create compelling content for a variety of platforms, including our website, social media, newsletters, and print materials.
- Manage and grow our social media presence with consistent and impactful messaging.
- Organise and support events - both in-person and virtual - to connect with stakeholders and the wider community.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure aligned and cohesive communications.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to optimise engagement and reach.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, imaginative, and confident in communicating across a range of channels and audiences. You’ll ideally bring:

- Demonstrable experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, including social media and content management tools.
- A creative approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.

Please note: Occasional out-of-hours work may be required to support events and campaigns.
