**One MHA Community Co-ordinator based in Harrogate** **Available Hours:?** **Permanent - Full Time - 21 hours per week** **£21,750 per annum (pro rota for part-time)** MHA have a unique opportunity to work within your local community to support older people to live later life well by increasing their social inclusion and wellbeing. Here at MHA, we are working hard to combine our 3 core services, care homes, retirement livingand communities, together to create what we like to call a collaborative community. The MHA Communities Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering a programme of activities, the scope of which will vary depending upon resident and member needs, desires, and abilities locally. All activities will seek to reduce feelings of isolationand loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of Care Home, Retirement Living and Community settings. This programme could include a mix of offerings such as lunch clubs, outings, and coffee mornings. In addition, the post holder will be required to develop new activities which may include coordinating with other organisations such as local colleges to offerIT classes or arranging for a local professional to deliver a series of exercise groups.
