Based in Park Royal the successful applicant will join a team of hardworking and dedicated people offering assistance to customers whohave a requirement for their tyres to be repaired or changed by the roadside.
Description: Tyre-Fit Control Room Operator - Nights
Duties include:
Working on the telephone, receiving calls from customers including Motoring Organisations, insurance companies and the general public.
Prioritising jobs and dispatching resources to attend incidents throughout the local area and across the UK. Working with other companies to ensure that all aspects of the job are completed efficiently whilst ensuring the customers and tyre-fitting staffare kept safe.
Note: the control room operates 24/7 and the environment can be fast moving and very busy.
Experience & Skills: Applicants MUST have the following skills and experience:
Ideally have previous experience working in a similar environment and using the Apex computer system. Otherwise having worked in a call-handling / help desk role handling large volumes of calls and despatching work to external resources.
Able to work on their own initiative and take charge of the situation; managing the job from initial contact to completion Prioritise workloads in a pressurised and fast-moving environment Superb telephone, administrative, organisational and IT skills Calmand professional approach Proven track record dealing with customers at all levels Excellent local knowledge of the local area and good national geographic knowledge Ability to empathise and understand that there is never a good time to break down and workto GDPR, confidentiality and Covid protocols.
Be prepared to muck in when required and cover other job roles including administration.
Experience of the tyre-fitting, breakdown & recovery or automotive industries is an advantage but not essential.
Training: Training will be given as part of an induction program and additional systems training.
Shift & Hours Available: 4 on / 4 off roster or 5 on / 2 off night shift.
8 or 12 hours per shift, although these may vary as the business grows.
There is plenty of overtime available to help cover staff absence and holidays.
**Salary**: £12.00 per hour pay rate Plus Overtime, Bonuses and Pension
Job Status: Permanent with immediate interviews and starts.
