Food Handler

**The Role**
We are looking for a reliable and detail orientated Food Handler/Packer to join our busy Production Team. In this hands on role, you'll be responsible for preparing, picking and packing high quality food products to customer specifications. You will ensure every order meets our standards for freshness, presentation, and accuracy, playing a key part in delivering an outstanding customer experience. The hours for this position are, 5 nights a week, 8 pm to 6 am.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Order Preparation and Packing**:Accurately Pick and pack Meat products for customer orders with attention to detail.
- **Meat Handling and cutting**:Use knifes to trim, portion, and prepare meat products to order.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all orders are quality-checked and meet customer specifications.
- **Production Support**: Assist the Production Manager in various aspects of the meat preparation process
- **Food Safety**: Adhere to HG Walter’s Food Safety and HACCP procedures, promptly reporting any hygiene or quality issues.
- **General Duties**: Perform ad-hoc duties that arise in the team's daily operation.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in food handling.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong communication skills are essential. Good spoken English and team orientated attitude.
- **Work Environment**: Must be comfortable working in a chilled environment.
- **Passion for Food**: A genuine interest in food and maintaining high standards.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
