**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely updates in accounting systems.
- Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budget preparation.
- Collaborate with external accountants during audits and tax preparations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting software as needed.
- Assist with employee training and H&S.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or similar platforms is required.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
- A relevant qualification in finance or accounting would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £20.00-£22.00 per hour
