We are seeking a motivated, client-centric **Graduate Trainee Accountant** to join a well-established accountancy and business advisory firm based in **Shepperton, Surrey**. This is a fully office-based role, ideal for recent graduates with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field who are looking to start their professional career and begin working towards qualifications such as Level 4 AAT or ACCA.
**Position Details**:
- **Hours**: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- **Location**: Shepperton, Surrey, with occasional travel to the West Horsley branch
- **Salary**: £30,000 - £34,000 (dependent on experience)
**Important Note on Location & Transport**
While Shepperton is not in a rural area, public transport options are limited, so having a **valid driving licence and access to a car would be highly beneficial** for a more straightforward commute. This is a fully office-based role with occasional travel required to the West Horsley branch.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in delivering a full range of accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services to clients
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and VAT returns
- Contribute to financial analyses and client reports, gaining exposure to diverse industries
- Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve queries
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your accounting skills
- Embrace new software, processes, and technologies to help drive practice growth
- **Education**: Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- **Qualifications**: Keen to pursue professional qualifications (e.g., AAT Level 4, ACCA)
- **Experience**: Internship or placement experience in an accounting environment is beneficial but not essential
- **Tech Proficiency**: Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, Sage) and proficiency in MS Excel
- **Communication & Organisation**: Strong communication and organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- **Professional Development**: A proactive, growth-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for continuous learning
- **Driving Licence**: Having a valid driving licence and access to a car is highly beneficial due to limited public transport options
