We are seeking a motivated, client-centric **Accounts Trainee** to join a well-established accountancy and business advisory firm based in **Shepperton, Surrey**. This is a fully office-based role, ideal for individuals starting their accounting career or currently studying towards Level 2 or Level 3 AAT qualifications.

**Position Details**:

- **Hours**: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- **Location**: Shepperton, Surrey, with occasional travel to the West Horsley branch
- **Salary**: £30,000 - £34,000 (dependent on experience)

**Important Note on Location & Transport**

While Shepperton is not in a rural area, public transport options are limited, so having a **valid driving licence and access to a car would be highly beneficial** for a more straightforward commute. This is a fully office-based role with occasional travel required to the West Horsley branch.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in delivering a full range of accounting and tax services to clients
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and VAT returns
- Help maintain accurate financial records and perform data entry tasks
- Communicate with clients to obtain necessary financial information
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance accounting skills
- Embrace new processes and technologies to contribute to practice growth
- **Qualifications**: Currently studying towards Level 2 or Level 3 AAT qualifications, or equivalent
- **Experience**: Previous experience in an accounting environment is beneficial but not essential
- **Tech Proficiency**: Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero and Sage; proficient in MS Excel
- **Communication & Organisation**: Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail

- **Driving Licence**: Having a valid driving licence and access to a car is highly beneficial due to limited public transport options
