**Fleet Manager**

**Salary - £38K to £42k dependant on experience**

**Location - Leicester (part office/ part home based)**

T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Fleet Manager to join a large services organisation.

This is an exciting new role as the company seeks to bring its company car fleet management 'in-house’ and the initial focus will be to determine and develop the appropriate processes and procedures for managing all company cars and fuel cards within thecompanies UK based fleet.

Key responsibilities as Fleet Manager will include.
- To develop and implement processes and procedures to allow effective management of the company car fleet across all entities including clear communication of processes and accountability.
- Ensure the fleet is operating in accordance with legislation and regulations and company policy, including but not limited to MOT compliance.
- Manage all orders for company cars, being the key point of contact for both drivers, suppliers and authorising managers and wherever possible encouraging drivers (with the support ofeducation tools from the suppliers) to select a vehicle that supports thecompany sustainability objectives.
- Oversee the return of all vehicles to the supplier and ensure that charges raised are appropriate, proportionate and in line with our contracted terms.
- Monitor and manage mileage trends and arrange for leases to be re-scheduled as appropriate.
- Ensure suppliers are updated with changes to ensure correct invoicing and cost allocation and work with stakeholders to resolve any invoicing or payment issues.
- Analyse available data sources and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Analyse trends in the market and our progress towards sustainability targets and make recommendations as appropriate to support the de-carbonisation of the fleet.
- Ensure the suppliers are operating to the contract terms and manage poor performance and reoccurring issues effectively. Escalate as appropriate.
- Raise Purchase orders as appropriate and ensure the timely management and processing of invoices.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required**:

- Proven fleet management experience of a fleet of at least 200 vehicles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management / influencing skills, working in a collaborative working style.
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into simple to reports.
- Highly organised and able to plan and prioritise workload in a demanding and fast paced environment.
- The ability to build and maintain networks that provide internal and external customer insight.
