Summary This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic marketing and communications person to join our team at the Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal and Brimham Rocks portfolio. As Senior Communications and Marketing Officer, you’ll lead the developmentand delivery of the communications and marketing plan in line with our national strategy. **Interviews will be held 7th March and we can offer remote interviews to those who live outside of the area but would like to apply.** What it's like to work here We’re a busy and complex property, welcoming over 400,000 visitors every year. You’ll be working with teams across the two sites as well as volunteers and regional consultancy colleagues, who all have a shared passion for the work of the National Trust.

Every day will be different - your ‘base’ will be at Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal, but you’ll cover the whole portfolio, spending time working with colleagues at Brimham Rocks when required.

**This role will have Duty Management responsibility, with some weekend work required for wider estate management.**

Click here for more information about this location What you'll be doing You’ll be leading on the development and delivery of the Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal and Brimham Rocks portfolio communications and marketing plan, helping us to achieve our ambitioustargets, and reach out to new audiences.
This will include helping to define our advertising activities and creating promotional materials and updates (across all media platforms, including social media), writing and distributing press releases and representing us on location filming and broadcastmedia when you need to. Who we're looking for You'll have a creative flair, with excellent written skills, to deliver great content to feed into our digital and social media channels, linking our visit driving work with our conservation purpose as a charity.
Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in the heritage or conservation industry though not essential.
