Internal Communications Channels Manager

A global FTSE-350 STEM-focused professional services organisation is looking for an Internal Communications Channels Manager to develop and manage the internal communications channels. The role will ideally be on a temp-to-perm basis.
The firm has a blank page, so it is an exciting opportunity for someone to come in and shape a new digital approach to internal communications.
The Internal Communications Channels Manager will work closely with the Director and Heads Of Internal Communications to analyse and upgrade the current channel ecosystem and bring experience and recommendations for new channels and implement them.
Key responsibilities as Internal Communications Channels Manager:
- Develop and manage existing and new internal communications channels.
- Curate and publish high-quality content such as news and features that bring the organisation's strategy, culture and people to life.
- Establish and report measurement techniques to ensure content and campaigns are effective and inform future content and campaign ideas.
- Develop, implement and maintain the internal communications team's editorial calendar, and ensure alignment with the broader business, economic and societal timelines and events.
- Collaborate with the brand and marketing team to maximise creative use of assets such as infographics, video etc. and ensure channels are 'on brand'.
Essential skills and experience required for the Internal Communications Channels Manager:
- Significant internal communications channels experience ideally at a group level within global, matrixed organisations.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills and flair for creating engaging and compelling copy.
- Commercially astute, with experience working with agencies and product providers to ensure the best and most appropriate tools and channels are adopted.
- Experience using and advising on Office 365 channels, including SharePoint, Yammer and Teams.
**Start Date**: ASAP with a strong temp-to-perm possibility
**Initial Contract Length**: 6 Months
**Pay**: £450-500/Day via Umbrella company
