What you can expect
You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing internal communication strategies, with a focus on the EMEA region. These will foster engagement, alignment, and transparency across the organisation. Reporting to the Internal Communications Lead, you will craft compelling messaging, initiatives, and platforms to communicate effectively with all employees.
About the Team
Zoom's Internal Communications team keep Zoomies informed about company updates, policies, initiatives, and milestones. Along with the wider People Experience team, we support Zoom's overall business strategy by supporting the needs of our most important resource, our people.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing internal communication strategies for the EMEA region, which are aligned with Zoom's objectives, values, and culture.
- Overseeing the creation and dissemination of engaging content through various channels (emails, newsletters, Workvivo, presentations, etc.).
- Supporting EMEA senior leader in crafting and delivering effective messages, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and alignment with organisational goals.
- Developing and implementing initiatives to enhance global employee engagement, morale, and a sense of belonging within the company.
- Collaborating with PX and leadership teams to create communication plans for change initiatives, ensuring clarity among Zoomies during transitions.
- Establishing metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication strategies.
- Using data insights to refine approaches and improve communication tactics.
What we're looking for
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in internal communications, with a focus on the tech industry or related sectors.
- Experience in leading regional internal communication strategies and initiatives at a global company.
- Have strategic thinking mindset and agility to influence in a fast-paced environment.
- Be knowledgeable of technology trends and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable messages.
- Have written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
- Able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with using various communication and collaboration tools and platforms.
