In this Graduate Sales Associate job, you will be joining a fast-growing startup that brings together companies and people interested in data, analytics, and new technology in and around the insurance sector. They run events, marketing, intelligence, and consultingprojects for their network of over 25,000 people.
Since this InsurTech company's founding 5 years ago, they have seen an exponential growth of 40% year-on-year, and are quickly becoming one of the global leaders in their field. It works with worldwide clients, such as AXA, Google Cloud, Mastercard, and Lloyds.
It is now looking for a mature and commercially-minded Sales Associate to join its tight-knit team.
Job description - Junior Sales Associate
In this Sales Associate job in London, you will play a key role in the company's growth strategy. As a core member of the sales team, you will have responsibility for growing out new business pipeline, supporting the senior sales team in booking meetings andsupporting with closing sales deals. You will have the opportunity to develop your sales knowledge on the job and develop your understanding of the needs of companies who are offering data, analytics, and technologies, and where they fit within the insurancevalue chain.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be tenacious and resilient, with an understanding that not every call will result in a positive outcome right away. You should be able to build rapport with potential clients from different levels and across multipleorganisations, and will work in collaboration with the Head of Business Development, the Research Team, the Membership Management Team, and the two Partners.

Key responsibilities - Junior Sales Associate
In this Sales Associate opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:

- Generating leads as well as building relationships from warm prospects
- Identifying new sales leads for yourself and others
- Making introductory calls (cold and warm) for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities
- Communicating the status of your sales through sales tracking and internal communication
- Supporting existing sales opportunities managed by others, progressing these through a
pipeline, and supporting on closing sales deals
- Transferring news sales opportunities to the Account Management team
- Supporting with upsell opportunities to existing clients
- Supporting the management of the inbound sales pipeline
- Working with the Research team to validate and qualify opportunities for sales of research reports
- Developing and reporting on key metrics for sales activities
Job requirements - Junior Sales Associate
- Degree or equivalent education
- Demonstrable experience of working in a sales environment
- Commercially driven
- Excellent communicator with an attention to detail and ability to present information accurately
- Ability to anticipate potential objections and handle them appropriately
- Passion for technology and innovation
- Able to work in London 3-4 days a week and attend monthly evening events
