Hello, I'm Dan, the Group Head of Talent Acquisition at Compliance Group. Although I'm relatively new to this business, I bring with me extensive experience from both agency and internal recruitment environments. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of leading numerous teams and nurturing individual talent. Notably, over ten individuals whom I've mentored, some starting as apprentices, have progressed to manage their own teams or hold senior positions. Why does this matter? Because my approach prioritises attitude over aptitude. For the right individual who joins our team, I make a simple promise: if you're willing to listen, learn, and possess a sponge-like brain, I guarantee you'll emerge as a superior recruiter.
This role suits individuals at various stages of their recruitment journey, whether new and eager to learn, seeking a skill refresher, or transitioning to internal recruitment from an agency. Our organisation, amidst rapid growth and with acquisitions pending, operates with multiple subsidiaries. - You will partner various areas of the business with multiple stakeholders, offering a consultative recruitment solution that adds real value
- You will focus on direct sourcing the best possible talent available, we’re not here to make up the numbers and fill our vacancies with just any talent
- A large part of your role will be to craft compelling job adverts that not only showcase the excellent roles we have here on offer, but help attract a higher applicant rate that is more suitable for the role
**Experience required for the role**:
- Ideally you will work in some form of recruitment/talent acquisition position. The aim of this role is to take someone to the next level from a skills perspective so length of time in recruitment isn’t important
- As mentioned above, you must want to learn and improve your skillset, there will be stacks of one-to-one training to turn you into a super effective recruiter
