This is an exciting time to be joining Uniserve Group as it looks to further develop its HR function and capability to provide a springboard to achieve the ambitious global growth plans.

We are transforming our people proposition and need an experienced HR Advisor for 4 - 6 month fixed term contract (with the view to going permanent) to work with the operation in the field to advise our managers on all things people related. The HR Advisor is a new role to the business so you will enjoy working with the wider HR team as we go through this period of change.

This is a hybrid role based from our sites in the south. You will spend a large amount of time in Tilbury but also be able to travel to other locations aswell as working from home when appropriate to do so.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a trusted advisor to our operations team you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the senior HR team with managing and prioritising enquiries and monitoring completion.
- Providing policy and process advise and support.
- Administering and supporting all HR processes.
- Directing or supporting any pay and benefits queries.
- Working as part of the greater HR team and occasionally drafted to work as a group on HR, Operational or Strategic projects.
- As well as Managers and Directors in the Operation, you will work closely with your HR Business Partner as well as the wider HR team including the Service centre, the Talent Acquisition team and the People Development team.

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:

- CIPD welcome, but not essential, if experienced
- Experience of TUPE
- Experience of ER case handling (Investigations, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Note Taking
- Operational Experience
- Logistics experience welcome, but not essential
- Flexible approach
- Able to build robust relationships quickly
- Empathy and great listening skills
- Team Player
