RAC have an exciting new opportunity for a **Senior Finance Business Partner** who can help pro-actively drive and own the financial performance within the Consumer Roadside portfolio.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director and with responsibility for a small team of finance professionals, this strategic role will be responsible for planning, forecasting and reporting across RACs retention business and includes a focus on supportingthe sales operations team which plays a critical role in driving retention. You will have responsibility for advising on all aspects of financial management including commercial pricing, budgeting, financial analysis and insight as well as monthly and weeklyreporting.

To be successful in this role you will bring experience of working in complex organisations with a passion for numbers and analytics and an exemplary attention to detail. This will combine with outstanding stakeholder management, challenging constructivelywhen needed but seeing the bigger commercial picture, and demonstrating credibility and gravitas.

This is a **hybrid** role, working two days a week in the **Bradley Stoke** office

**What will you do**

Inform business leaders and their decision-making through commercial understanding of the business area you support, with emphasis on:

- Identify areas of under/over performance
- Draw out and highlight trends
- Analyse results versus budget / prior years
- Analyse key performance indicators and understand context of performance
- Bring these reports to life for the wider Consumer teams through the addition of insightful commercial commentary in weekly / monthly trading and commercial review meetings
- Ensure Retention and Sales Ops teams understand their reported numbers and impacts
- Support provision of financial appraisal and decision support
- Perform required analysis e.g. Net Present Value, Cost Benefit, investment payback periods
- Strategies for de-risking investment
- Understand and help shape the Group Strategy and Five Year Plan, and the specific short and medium term targets you are involved in influencing
- Clear understanding of KPIs and performance against these

**Qualifications**

The role requires you to be a numbers person, with the ability to work with your team to analyse large volumes data within fast paced complex scenarios, you will show excellent financial modelling skills and have advanced MS Excel knowledge. Along with thisyou will have proven stakeholder management at a senior level, helping to shape and influence creating a healthy tension between the team.
