Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Resort Theme Park's (RTP) team. This role will can be based within any one of our UK offices.

**About the Role**

Join the Resort Theme Parks operating group finance team, acting as a key finance business partner to key functional stakeholders. This is a fast-paced and exciting role, requiring someone with excellent analytical skills, good financial acumen and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The role will suit someone who is passionate about delivering first class analysis to drive great decision making.

You will offer financial business partnership to essential stakeholders, as well as conducting regular and ad-hoc analysis and generating insightful reports across Operating Groups. The role will shape RTP financial planning through precision budget evaluation tools, uncovering inaccuracies. There will be a need to collaborate with stakeholders for personalised analysis, revealing business trends and delivering Operating Group-wide analysis, reports and insights regularly.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Decode financial data to unveil performance nuances that drive success.
- Team up with divisions, unravelling explanations and gathering info to craft concise, impactful commentary.
- Craft on-demand analysis that sparks strategic clarity.
- Diligently review, challenge and perfect reports.
- Keep trackers and control sheets fresh and updated.
- Master the art of completing and submitting group reporting templates.
- Support financial planning processes with finesse.
- Shape a suite of reports that elevate budgeting, planning and forecasting.
- Thoroughly review submissions, dissect assumptions and provide insightful feedback.
- Assist teams in adhering to and documenting group processes.
- Manage and track central capex and board papers.

**About You**

As part of our team, you'll bring the wizardry of being an ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified accountant, with hands-on experience gained from thriving in a fast-paced finance team. Your mastery of excellent analytical skills, both for financial and non-financial data, will be a testament to your deep understanding of core accounting principles. You'll be a skilled navigator of interactions across a diverse spectrum of individuals, with remarkable communication talents, both written and spoken.

Additionally, your extraordinary personal organisation and time management abilities will make you a conductor of efficiency in our magical orchestra. While not essential, possessing knowledge of Hyperion and TMI will add an extra sparkle to your already impressive skill set.
