**The role**
This is a hybrid working role (Minimum two days in the office) which can be based from our offices in Farringdon or Sittingbourne.
Reporting to the Director of Governance & Regulation, you will provide effective and efficient administrative support.

What you’ll be doing
- Provide proactive and responsive administrative support service to the designated Director and Governance Team including the processing of draft reports, correspondence, presentations, appointments, associated filing, team meetings, travel and accommodation requirements as requested.
- Maintain the Governance Team system, files and records, ensuring that these are up to date and kept securely
- Provide support with servicing Southern Housing ‘s Boards and Committees including arranging meetings, collation and distribution of papers, servicing the meeting and taking minutes
- Ensure that matters are dealt with by the appropriate person in the absence of the Director.

What you’ll need
Knowledge & Experience
- Good administrative experience gained in a regulated environment.
- Extensive successful administrative experience working for senior leaders.
- Experience of dealing with confidential information.
Desirable
- Knowledge of legal documents, board papers and processes.
- Experience of working in a regulated governance environment.
**Skills**:
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to prioritise and to meet deadlines.
- Flexible approach.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills using MS Office Suite including PowerPoint.
- Able to act on and use initiative in dealing with situations on behalf of the appropriate Director.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to relate to both internal and external customers, including customers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
