**Job overview**:

Waveney Community Learning Disabilities Team are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of the Administration Team.
The team are based in Oulton Village covering the Waveney area of Norfolk and Waveney NHS services for people with a learning disability and their communities. The team supports adults with a learning disability over 25 years of age and currently comprises LD Nurses, Psychiatry, Psychology, OT's and Speech and Language Therapy.
This role is a full time substantive position and you will be supporting the Clinical Team Manager as well as the wider clinical team.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.
**Main duties of the job**:
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting Clinicians to maintain electronic patient records.
- Booking appointments
- Typing of letters
- Maintaining and monitoring waiting lists
- Preparing for and logging staff supervision and appraisals
- Diary management
- Recording staff absence
- Recruitment support
- General admin support to wider clinical team
- Liaising with other teams
- Undertake other appropriate duties, as directed, being adaptable and flexible to service needs and changes across the locality.
Previous administration experience is essential. Full training will be given.

- Pitman / RSA III Typing / Word Processing or equivalent secretarial experience at intermediate level
- NVQ 2 Customer Services
- NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent
**Desirable criteria**:
- Knowledge of Trust electronic record system
**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Understanding and experience in a full range of secretarial procedures and systems gained through practice at intermediate level.
- Working under pressure
- Working on own initiative with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work with senior members of staff across a large organisation
**Desirable criteria**:
- Staff supervision / appraisal process
