**Position: Customer Service Coordinator**

**Salary**: Up to £24,000 depending on experience

Hours: 36.25 hours per week, full-time, permanent position

Location: West Bromwich

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinating customer’s orders, providing a high-level of Customer Service
- Reviewing contracts and order entry
- Preparation of shipping documentation, dealing with global customers
- Making bookings with freight forwarders, producing all export documentation and certificates
- Bank presentations and letter of credit
- Preparing and issuing quotations and working out prices
- Attending meetings with the production team
- General administration and ad hoc duties
- Educated to GCSE standard with a good level of Maths and English as a minimum
- 2 years+ experience in the Export and shipping industry
- IT literate
- Experience in a Customer Service-related role
- Hands on, commercially aware
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Confident communicator

A qualification in the shipment of Dangerous Goods would be an advantage.

Knowledge of IMDG, ADR and IATA would be useful.
