**Role: Collections Advisor**
**Location: Chester**
**Working hours: Monday - Friday (Saturday on a Rota) shift pattern**
Your future employer is currently looking to add an additional team member to their growing team based in the Chester Business Park. You would be part of a fast-paced energetic team, within a busy call centre environment contacting customers who have falleninto their arrears with their finance.
There is a potential to earn up to £400 bonus every month
**Key responsibilities of a Collections Advisor**:
- Collections Activity on all overdue agreements
- Provide excellent customer service
- Embrace the principles of Treating Customers Fairly
- Negotiate recovery of outstanding payments with customers by identifying the reason for overdue payment
- Prevent contractual loss
- Identify and flag vulnerable customers
- Ensure all call handling and service quality is maintained
- Act as a role model
- Monthly targets based on Bad Debt Provision Plans
**The successful Collections Advisor will have the following**:
- Working knowledge of regulations related to collections activity
- Call centre experience within collections is essential
- Problem solver
- Handle and defuse escalated cases
- Flexible approach to working
- Basic IT skills
- Good communication
- A team player
- Good verbal and written communication skills
